The agreement that freed POW Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl from captivity in Afghanistan is a "terrible deal" that endangers all Americans, Donald Trump said Monday.
"Every soldier and every American is at risk right now," the real estate and entertainment billionaire told "Fox & Friends."

Trump said the agreement to exchange Bergdahl, held captive for nearly five years, for five detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, also set a "terrible precedent." Critics have charged the White House with
negotiating with terrorists, and also
not sharing with Congress details about the prisoner exchange prior to the announcement of the agreement.

Trump predicted the issue would end up being a "catastrophe" for the administration of President Barack Obama.
"What they did here was so bad and so inconceivable. And it's just another mistake by our leadership and by the Obama administration.
"It's the gang that can't shoot straight. That's our leadership. So they think they're doing it for political reasons. I think it's going to end up being a political nightmare," Trump said.
