Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, said President Donald Trump has endured the most “ferocious” media attacks of any president in history.
Bozell made his comments during an interview on former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s show, which aired on Newsmax TV on Monday night. Bozell is author of “Unmasked: Big Media’s War Against Trump.”
“What you’re seeing with this president is an attack more ferocious than on any president in the history of this country both from the standpoint of quantity -- the number of negative stories -- and quality -- the way in which they’re presented,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like this in 32 years of analyzing the press.
“We’ve seen stories that are wrong. I’ve never seen this kind of fakery. When you’ve got these fact-checkers that are as liberal as the news organizations that are being used, well, they re constantly going to find fault…”
And he ripped those media outlets still pushing the Russia collusion line.
“The (president) has said since day one, since the very first story appeared, and all his supporters have said there is no evidence of this. The (press) kept pointing to the Mueller investigation. So the Mueller report came out (and) what was the response? There is no collusion. There is no evidence anywhere of collusion. A good journalist would drop it at that point.
“All they’ve done is double-down on it.”
