Amazon Said to Pull Confederate Flag Merchandise From Web Store

Online retailer Amazon.com Inc. will pull Confederate flag items from its Web store, a person with knowledge of the matter said, becoming the latest retailer to ban such merchandise after racially charged shootings in a South Carolina church last week.

The Seattle-based company will soon begin removing the merchandise, said the person, who asked not to be identified as the plans haven’t been announced yet.
