Obamacare users won't go without insurance coverage when the healthcare law is repealed, President Donald Trump's adviser Kellyanne Conway says.
In an interview on NBC's "Sunday Today," Conway said Trump will keep his promise about coverage.
"President Trump has said that people will not go without coverage," she said. "And he means that," adding a repeal of the law will be quickly followed by a replacement.
"He said it during his press conference just last week," she said. "It could happen same hour, same week, same day perhaps."
She added the government needs to put into place "proper environment and the incentives that will allow small business, and mom and pops, and mothers and dads all across the country to be able to flourish if they'd like to."
"And by the same token, we need to make sure we're not throwing more obstacles in their way," she added.
Trump on Friday signed an executive order directing federal agencies to "ease the burden of Obamacare," giving giving broader authority to the Department of Health and Human Services and other agencies to loosen Obamacare regulatory requirements.
