ABC News has released the details on the upcoming third round of Democratic presidential debates, which will take place in Houston on September 12 and 13.
Chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir, ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis, and Univision anchor Jorge Ramos are set to moderate the debate, which will be held at Texas Southern University, a historically black college. The debate will air on ABC, ABC News Live, and local station KTRK-TV, and it will be translated in Spanish and broadcast live on Univision.
The number of candidates taking part in the debate has not been set, but 10 have already qualified. If no more candidates are certified, then the debate will take place on a single night. The candidates who qualified include: former Vice President Joe Biden, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, California Sen. Kamala Harris, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.
