President Donald Trump on Wednesday vowed to declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation if House Democrats launch investigations into his administration, The New York Post reports.

"If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me," he told the Post in an exclusive interview. "I'm a counter-puncher, and I will hit them so hard, they'd never been hit like that."

Now that Democrats have control of the House, they have the capability to launch as many investigations into Trump and his administration as they want.

Incoming House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has said he would look at how the House’s probe into Trump's campaign ties to Russia was incomplete, and the House Oversight Committee previously said it would investigate Trump's role in paying Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, who alleged they had affairs with Trump but said they were paid off to keep quiet.

Additionally, Schiff on Tuesday said the House Intelligence Committee plans to probe the phone records of Donald Trump Jr. to determine who he called the night of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting.

"I think that would help my campaign," Trump told the Post. "If they want to play tough, I will do it. They will see how devastating those pages are."

House Democrats are poised to take over the lower chamber in January.
