As star of "The Celebrity Apprentice," Donald Trump pledged 21 times to give his personal money to a celebrity's charity – but in 18 cases, the money came from someone else's pocket, the Washington Post reported.
Together, Trump's personal pledges totaled $464,000, according to the Post, which reported it contacted the individual charities to find out who paid off the promises.
According to the Post, one of the promises was for $50,000 to St. Jude's in 2008 during the first season of "The Celebrity Apprentice."
Tax records show the hospital was sent $50,000 from a nonprofit, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, the Post reported.
"The Post's search found that all of Trump's promises from the show's last three seasons were paid off by the Trump Foundation, save one," the Post wrote.
That was the biggest one, according to the Post.
"In 2013, Trump promised $100,000 to the American Diabetes Association, the charity of hip-hop artist Lil Jon," the Post wrote.
"In that case, a production company paid."
The Post reported from the tax records of the Trump Foundation, "there is no record of any gift from Trump's pocket to the Trump Foundation in any year since 2008."
