President Donald Trump fired off a second ominous tweet Wednesday night, suggesting NBC News should worry about its Federal Communications Commission license — and indicated other broadcast networks are also in his crosshairs.

Earlier Wednesday, the president slammed an NBC News report that asserted a meeting that led to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling Trump a "moron" entailed Trump asking for a "tenfold" increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

"With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License?" Trump tweeted.

"Bad for country!"

Defense Secretary James Mattis later Wednesday issued a terse two-sentence rebuke of the NBC report.

Then, speaking with the press pool in the Oval Office, Trump called it "frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write, and people should look into it."
