Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, who recently served less than two weeks in prison as part of the Russia investigation, has partnered with a medical marijuana company.
The 31-year-old made the announcement in a tweet Tuesday afternoon:
"Very excited to join the Board of Advisors of C3 International, inc. @idrasilpill is a revolutionary product that will assist in weaning Americans off the deleterious opioid epidemic that is affecting thousands, and killing hundreds, of Americans every single day. New thinking."
Papadopoulos is one of several high-profile personalities who are joining the marijuana industry. Last year, former House Speaker John Boehner confirmed he was joining the board of cannabis company Acreage Holdings.
Papadopoulos pled guilty to lying to the FBI as part of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe. He served 12 days in prison before he was released last month.
