New High: 68 Percent See Global Warming as Serious Problem

While there was little talk of climate change during the presidential campaign, the number of U.S. voters who see global warming as a serious problems is at an all-time high, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national poll.
 
The telephone survey of 1,000 people taken Nov. 5, found that 68 percent now say global warming is at least a somewhat serious problem, including 38 percent who think it's "very serious."
 
Thirty percent of those polled, however, don't see global warming as a serious problem, despite the recent patterns of violent and unusual weather across the country.

Twelve percent of the survey participants took the position that the issue is "not at all serious."
