Google’s Cloud Service, which powers a number of other applications, experienced an outage Sunday, resulting in such services as Gmail, YouTube and Snapchat being out of commission, Mediaite reported.
Google issued a status update on its Cloud dashboard, stating that the problem began on Sunday afternoon, and that the company was attempting to deal with the issue.
The problem has mainly been affecting users on the East Coast of the United States, although some YouTube and Gmail users throughout Europe were also reporting that they have been unable to access the services, according to The Verge.
The problems with YouTube are the latest in a series of difficulties the popular video service has experienced recently, with problems also reported in in January and October.
Google pointed to "high levels of network congestion in the eastern USA, affecting multiple services in Google Cloud, G Suite and YouTube."
