Grover Norquist: Obama Darth Vader of Second Amendment Rights

Anti-tax activist Grover Norquist unleashed a Star Wars-themed Twitter storm Saturday to blast President Barack Obama for his gun order plans, comparing the commander-in-chief to the epic villain Darth Vader.

In a series of posts slamming the gun control push, Norquist declared "Darth Vader supports gun control, and then challenged his anti-tax followers to "understand what Obama wants in our future."

Norquist says he doesn't buy Obama's goal of tackling an "epidemic of gun violence" before he leaves office.

The Guardian notes Norquist has frequently used Star War imagery, including in an article about the "best tax revolts in science fiction" – and in an anxious tweet about his daughter wanting to play Darth Vader.

According to the Guardian, Norquist even attended a thinktank event dressed as the Sith lord.
