Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost last year's presidential election but called Friday's cancellation of a healthcare vote a resounding win for America.

Roughly two hours after it was reported that House Speaker Paul Ryan scrapped a planned vote on the American Health Care Act because of a lack of support, Clinton cheered in a statement posted on her Twitter account:

During her presidential campaign, Clinton proposed to keep and improve Obamacare, which former President Barack Obama signed into law seven years ago. Trump, like many in the Republican party, ran on a campaign promise to repeal and replace the healthcare law.
