Former Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will speak at the annual convention of the American Federation of Teachers, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
The teacher convention will be held in Pittsburgh beginning Friday. Clinton will speak that day, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., will speak on Saturday, and Sanders will speak on Sunday, The Post-Gazette reported.
Labor leaders and elected officials are also set to address the convention’s attendees, the report said.
The American Federation of Teachers represents more than 1.8 million educators and other school-related personnel in more than 3,000 affiliates around the U.S., the report said.
Sanders and former vice president Joe Biden top the list among Democratic primary voters as their favorites for a 2020 presidential run, a Zogby poll reported earlier in July.
