GOP Speaker Johnson at White House Meetings

The White House invited the newly elected speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, to attend a bipartisan briefing Thursday on President Joe Biden's supplemental budget request, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

"The speaker is here and he did join that briefing," Jean-Pierre told reporters.
