CNN congressional reporter Manu Raju said Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., "angrily" responded to his questions about her testy Twitter reaction to President Donald Trump's condemnation of her.

Both Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have called out the freshman lawmaker for her tweets perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes concerning a powerful pro-Israel interest group. Trump said she should resign; Pence tweeted if she does not, she should be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Omar snapped back at Trump on Wednesday, tweeting, "You have trafficked in hate your whole life."

"I learned from people impacted by my words. When will you?" she added.

Raju said when he asked Omar about the sparring, he got an earful.

"Rep. Ilhan Omar in no mood to talk about her controversies this week. First, she said: 'No thank you' when asked to comment on Trump saying she should resign. Second time I saw her, she yelled: 'Are you serious?' when I tried to question her," he tweeted.
