Israel reportedly agreed on the framework for a deal to release the remaining hostages held in Gaza, pending Hamas' approval.
Negotiators from Israel, the United States, Egypt, and Qatar hammered out the plan at a meeting in Paris, NBC News reported, citing an unnamed source.
The deal would involve the release of the remaining American and Israeli hostages in phases starting with the women and children, accompanied by phased pauses in the fighting and aid deliveries to Gaza, along with the exchange of Palestinian prisoners, the outlet reported.
A draft was to be presented to Hamas on Monday, the outlet reported, noting that in the past Hamas has insisted on an immediate permanent cease-fire first before any releases.
The news came the same day as Tel Aviv was targeted with a barrage of rockets, The Messenger reported, citing Maariv and other Israeli outlets. Video posted online at Ben Gurion Airport, outside Tel Aviv, showed some passengers scurrying as an announcement was made.
