A song performed by a group of incarcerated prisoners who were involved in the Jan. 6 riot that includes a sample of former President Donald Trump's voice has topped the iTunes U.S. singles chart, Newsweek reports.
Earlier this month, the J6 Prison Choir, a group of inmates who were incarcerated after being convicted of crimes relating to the Capitol riot, released the song "Justice for All" which features a voice clip of Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The single was released on March 3 and has topped the iTunes U.S. singles chart since March 10.
Forbes reports that the profits from the song will go towards the families of those incarcerated for taking part in the riot, which resulted in the deaths of five people.
Trump commented, "Wow!" In a Truth Social post about the song adding, "#1 on iTunes, thank you!"
The former president previously said that if reelected, he would grant "full pardons with an apology" for "many" of those convicted for their involvement in the riot.
