Conservative author Jerome Corsi on Sunday filed an amended complaint against special counsel Robert Mueller and multiple government agencies, accusing Mueller of being the source in BuzzFeed’s recent report that his office refuted.

Corsi, who is an associate of Republican consultant Roger Stone, filed the complaint after BuzzFeed reported that President Donald Trump instructed his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress. This claim was later rejected by Mueller’s office.

“After calls for a U.S. Justice Department investigation of this leak in particular … Defendant Mueller, to try to cover his illegal tracks and head off a Department investigation by the Office of Professional Responsibility and Inspector General — falsely repudiated what BuzzFeed had reported were indeed leaks from the Special Counsel,” the complaint reads, according to Law&Crime.

Corsi also added Amazon CEO and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos to the list of defendants, along with the newspaper itself, Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia, the Justice Department, CIA, FBI, and NSA.

He accuses Roig-Franzia of contacting him about money he was receiving from the father of InfoWars founder Alex Jones, and that the reporter informed him that Mueller was investigating. Corsi also claimed that Mueller threatened to subpoena Amazon for a copy of his upcoming book, and that the special counsel is attempting to “interfere” in Corsi’s relationship with Amazon and his publisher, and to “intimidate” them into ending its publication.

Corsi also has increased the amount he is seeking in compensation: more than $250 million in general and compensatory damages, along with over $1.35 billion in punitive damages.
