Conservative writer Jerome Corsi, an associate of Roger Stone, has been offered a plea deal in connection with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia collusion, according to several news outlets, but he is swearing he will not accept it.

"Corsi tells me he's been offered plea deal on one count of perjury," NBC News Senior Producer Anna Schecter tweeted Monday, quoting him as telling her: "'They want me to say I willfully lied. I'm not going to agree that I lied. I did not. I will not lie to save my life. I'd rather sit in prison and rot for as long as these thugs want me to.'"

Corsi also told CNN on Monday he will not accept a plea deal, commenting during a telephone interview "They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie."

He also said he does not know what will happen if he refuses the deal.

Corsi also confirmed to CNN he has been offered a deal to plead guilty to one count of perjury. He's under investigation for being a possible intermediary between WikiLeaks and Stone.

During an interview with One America News Network on Monday, Corsi proclaimed his innocence and accused late Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich of "stealing" emails from the DNC's computer network — not the Russians.

"I never met [WikiLeaks founder Julian] Assange, I've never spoken to him, I've never seen him, zero contact with him. And I had no intermediary who was in contact with him," Corsi said. "What the special counselor couldn't figure out was in August [2016], I knew that the emails remaining that Julian Assange had were [Hillary Clinton campaign director John] Podesta's emails. I basically figured it out, which is what I do. I connect the dots. I didn't need any source to tell me.

"Get Assange back here, he can prove it was Seth Rich that did the stealing of the emails. It wasn't the Russians, he said it any number of times. I can prove it, I can support it."

Corsi also accused the CIA of manufacturing evidence to show Russia hacked into the DNC server.
