President Donald Trump took another shot at CNN's Jim Acosta Friday morning and ripped Acosta's colleague April Ryan, calling her a "loser."

Trump took questions from the White House press corps prior to boarding Marine One as he embarked on a weekend trip to France to attend World War I ceremonies.

"I think Jim Acosta is a very unprofessional man. He does this with everybody, he gets paid to do that. He gets paid to burst in. He's a very unprofessional guy," Trump said, alluding to this week's fiasco with Acosta during a press conference that led to him losing his White House press credential.

"Whether it was me or Ronald Reagan or anybody else, he would have done the same thing. I don't think he's a smart person, but he's got a loud voice."

Regarding Ryan, who works at American Urban Radio Networks and CNN, Trump was even more direct.

"The same thing with April Ryan. I watch her get up. You talk about somebody that's a loser, she doesn't know what the hell she's doing," Trump said. "She gets publicity and then she gets a pay raise, so she gets a contract with I think CNN. She's very nasty, and she shouldn't be.

"You've gotta treat the White House and the office of the presidency with respect."

Trump added that it has not yet been decided how long Acosta's press credential will be suspended.
