Former Vice President Joe Biden's new book is set for release in November, The New York Times reported.
Titled "Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose," Biden's book delves into a deeply personal story of mourning, coping and pain since the death of his son Beau from brain cancer in 2014, The Times reported.
In fact, the book's title was inspired by the last Thanksgiving the Biden family spent together when Beau told the vice president, "Promise me, Dad. Give me your word that no matter what happens, you're going to be all right," The Times reported.
"I hope my own story will strike a chord with other Americans who have walked the same path I have," Biden said in a statement, The Times reported.
"I have always been fortunate to have an incredible support system around me, and I understand how many people in this country go through far worse than I have, with far less support."
