John Bolton will meet with his Israeli counterpart Tuesday at the White House to ensure the two countries continue to be in lock step when it comes to dealing with Iran, Axios reported.

Bolton and Israeli national security adviser Meir Ben-Shabat will ratify changes to a pact established in December that spells out how the two countries counter Iran on the issue of nukes and its missile program, Axios reports.

For starters, the parties need to reflect one major change in their document - the U.S. pulled out of the nuclear accord with Iran.

The two countries want to be on the same page ahead of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meetings next week in Germany, France and England, Axios reports.

The meeting between Bolton and Ben-Shabat will be their first face-to-face since Bolton came on as NSA in April.
