Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer Tuesday defeated Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in her bid for re-election in North Dakota, CNN projected Tuesday night.

She had been considered the most vulnerable Democratic incumbent, after President Donald Trump took her state by 36 percentage points in the 2016 race. Her race took a blow in the weeks before Election Day after her campaign accidentally identified sexual assault survivors in an ad, notes CNN.

With 84 percent of the votes in, Cramer was leading Heitkamp by 56.5-43.5 percent.
