North Korea's Kim Jong-un may actually be suffering from 'roid rage,' the New York Post says.

The leader, who has repeatedly threatened nuclear warfare, is the subject of widespread speculation that he has gout, Post columnist Richard Johnson writes. And one of the treatments for gout is steroids, according to Johnson

"This fellow could be manifesting 'roid rage," Dr. Rock Positano of the Hospital for Special Surgery is quoted in the Post story.

And he would not be the first world leader to suffer from it, the newspaper reports.. Gout is a buildup of uric acid in joints and can cause pain "like a knife going through your toes," Positano says.

Meanwhile, the North Korean leader is said to have reviewed plans to launch missiles at Guam, but has decided against it, NPR is reporting.
