A video has surfaced showing President Barack Obama’s attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch is just "as radical" as outgoing AG Eric Holder,
according to Top Right News.
On the video filmed in Long Beach, California, earlier this year, Lynch lashed out at voter identification laws passed in the South, saying that they deprive blacks and Hispanics of the right to vote.
"Fifty years after the march on Washington, 50 years after the Civil Rights Movement, we stand in this country at a time when we see people trying to take back so much of what Dr. King fought for," she said. "People try and take over the State House and reverse the goals that have been made in voting in this country.

"But I’m proud to tell you that the Department of Justice has looked at these laws, and looked at what’s happening in the Deep South, and in my home state of North Carolina [that] has brought lawsuits against those voting rights changes that seek to limit our ability to stand up and exercise our rights as citizens. And those lawsuits will continue."
The point she’s making is that racist politicians in the Deep South have passed voter ID laws "so that minority voters would be disenfranchised,"
according to Pundit Press, which uncovered the video.
Lynch also said, "There’s still more work to do. People tell us the ‘dream’ is not realized because dreams never are. [Nelson] Mandela and [Martin Luther] King knew we had to continue working, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you, that under this president and under this attorney general, that the Department of Justice is committed to following through with those dreams."
The Pundit Press noted that Lynch and Holder even use the same kind of comments on voter ID laws. "Allowing limits on voting rights that disproportionately exclude minority voters would be inconsistent with our ideals as a nation," the Press quoted Holder as saying.
Obama introduced his choice for attorney general on Saturday as an accomplished federal prosecutor in New York City who will carry on a "fierce commitment to equal justice."
Top Right News writer Brian Hayes said that the media have since portrayed Lynch as a "moderate" and "uncontroversial," but he says she is "just as dangerous as Holder to American justice and electoral integrity."
Hayes wrote, "The very idea that voter ID is racist or disenfranchises anyone is preposterous … because everyone knows that minorities have photo IDs too, and can get them for free from states if need be. This has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with facilitating mass voter fraud, the Democrat Party’s ace in the hole.
"At the end of her speech, Lynch ridiculously tries to tie her battle to stop voter ID laws to Nelson Mandela. I guess she didn’t get the memo. Mandela supported and put into place strict photo voter ID laws in South Africa."
