A growing number of people in Silicon Valley believe Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will run for President, Vanity Fair reported.
In recent months, Zuckerberg has offered hints he could be preparing for a possible White House bid, including one where he reaffirmed his belief in religion, according to the magazine.
"I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important," he said.
And Nick Bilton, a special correspondent for Vanity Fair noted in the magazine: "No one likes a president who doesn't believe in some sort of God."
The magazine pointed out Zuckerberg also announced he was going to meet "people in every state in the U.S." in 2017.
Zuckerberg added he has "spent significant time in many states already, so I'll need to travel to about 30 states this year to complete this challenge."
Bilton added: "I wonder how many of those states are swing states?"
And Silicon Valley insiders say a Zuckerberg White House bid is potentially real.
"He's been incredibly careful about cultivating a specific type of persona over the past few years," the magazine quoted one person.
Vanity Fair noted: "There is no one alive who can affect more people with the touch of a button. He has more power and influence than most world leaders. . . . He's the sixth-richest person in the world and has vowed to donate most of his wealth. He wants something bigger. Something that give him more impact and influence on the planet."
Newsweek reported, while Donald Trump might be the first U.S. presidency with no prior political experience, clues from Zuckerberg suggest he might not be the last.
The magazine reported, while Zuckerberg, 32, is still three years short of being eligible to run, he will be old enough in the next presidential elections in November 2020.
