Two new documentaries on controversial attorney Roy Cohn are set for release this fall, Showbiz411 is reporting.
One of the documentaries comes from Ivy Meeropol, the filmmaker granddaughter of convicted and executed spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg.
The documentary, “Bully, Coward, Victim,” will include exclusive interviews Cohen did before his death in 1986. Cohn was a member of the Justice Department’s prosecution team against the Rosenbergs.
Meeropol said in a statement last year: “The time has come for audiences to understand a man who, while hiding so much of himself from the world, has had a profound influence on our society, even to this day. We are thrilled to partner with HBO Documentary Films to bring this remarkable story to life."
Another documentary, “Where’s My Roy Cohn?” will be released on Sept. 20, according to Showbiz411. This documentary will look at the controversial path Cohn took in his career. Cohn became infamous as an adviser to Sen. Joe McCarthy on his hunt for Communists in the late 50s.
