Former first lady Michelle Obama is rated as the "most admired" woman in the world as part of a new poll.
Obama climbed one spot in the annual YouGov survey to claim the No. 1 position. In second is entertainer Oprah Winfrey, who who also moved up one place. Actress Angelina Jolie occupied the No. 1 spot in 2018, but dropped to third in the current survey.
Rounding out the top five is Queen Elizabeth II and actress Emma Watson.
Current first lady Melania Trump also made the list and is ranked 19th. Peng Liyuan, the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is ranked seventh.
On the men's side, Microsoft founder Bill Gates retains his top spot — a position he has held since the survey began. Former President Barack Obama is second, followed by actor Jackie Chan, Xi, and businessman Jack Ma.
Michelle Obama has been on a tour of the U.S. and several international cities in recent months for her memoir "Becoming."
