Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg's long-time partner Diana Taylor said people upset with sexual harassment claims and nondisclosure agreements against the now-presidential candidate should "get over it."
"In none of them was he accused of doing anything other than saying something nasty to a woman," Taylor told CBS News. "That is not who he is. Life has changed."
"I grew up in that world," she said. "It was a bro culture. We have come a very, very long way, and Michael Bloomberg has been at the forefront of that change."
In last week's Democratic presidential debate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., challenged Bloomberg over statements he is accused of making about women in the past, including using such terms as "horse-faced lesbians" and "fat broads."
She also challenged him to release women from nondisclosure agreements. He since has said he would release three women from such NDAs.
Taylor, speaking to CBS at a Women for Mike rally in Texas, said to critics, "It was 30 years ago. Get over it."
