House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., says she is not going to spend any additional time discussing comments President Donald Trump made about her last week while overseas, The Hill is reporting.
"I'm done with him," she said Tuesday at an event hosted by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. "I don't even want to talk about it."
Trump, in an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, had called Pelosi “a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”
“I think she’s a disgrace,” he said while in France to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
The Hill noted Pelosi was also in France to commemorate the D-Day anniversary.
But she maintained she doesn’t criticize the president while she is on congressional delegate trips overseas.
However, Trump “took a different tack,” she said.
