Concerned Women for America's Nance Endorses Trump

By    |   Monday, 08 January 2024 10:07 AM EST

The CEO and president of Concerned Women for America (CWA) on Monday endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

Penny Nance's personal endorsement comes with abortion expected to be a major issue in November's presidential election.

Surveys have shown that Trump currently is the clear front-runner for the GOP nomination.

Nance, whose socially conservative organization is the nation's largest public policy women's organization, made her announcement via a video that shows her standing in front of the Supreme Court, Politico first reported.

"I have been a pro-life advocate for almost my entire life. I'll never forget the day that I stood with Donald Trump with hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans to celebrate the March for Life," Nance says in her video.

"And of course, we will never forget that President Trump gave us over 270 constitutionalist judges and three Supreme Court justices, which is why I am standing here today in front of the Supreme Court to recognize that 18 months ago the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade."

CWA is pro-life, pro-Israel, and supports biological gender roles.

Trump was the first 2024 presidential candidate to sign CWA's pledge defining women, and promising to uphold that sex is binary and reinforce that in every policy and program at home and abroad.

"He was the first guy out of the gate, and I was very grateful for that," Nance said on Real Life with Jack Hibbs. "It means a lot to me that President Trump immediately was spot on and understood the question and the time of the day."

In June, Nance met with Trump at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

"I was honored to meet with President Trump, who was the most pro-life president in our nation's history," Nance said. "Because of his leadership, tens of thousands of lives have been saved.

"I shared with President Trump the need to protect female athletes in sports who are forced to compete against men and the plight of parents fighting to protect their children from school officials working to sexualize and indoctrinate young minds without notification or consent.

"President Trump was able to accomplish many things while he was in the White House, but our nation is at a tipping point due to the leftist agenda of the Biden administration. There is much to do to protect American families; our right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion is a constant struggle."

In September, MAGA War Room shared on X a video of Nance touting Trump's pro-life stance.

"Without President Trump, we would not have a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, who one year ago overturned Roe v. Wade. Without question, Donald Trump is the most pro-life president in American history," Nance said in the video.
