Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., holds the top spot in the latest poll of Democratic candidates in New Hampshire, CBS Boston reports.
The University of New Hampshire found that Sanders outpaces his rivals by double-digit figures, with former Vice President Joe Biden his closest competitor:
• Sanders: 30 percent.
• Biden: 18 percent.
• South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg: 15 percent.
• Mass. Sen. Elizabeth Warren: 5 percent.
• Undecided: 12 percent.
President Donald Trump easily tops his only challenger, former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld:
• Trump: 76 percent.
• Weld: 5 percent.
The poll also found that three-quarters of New Hampshire residents said they will definitely vote in the state’s primary, and 13 percent said they would vote unless there is an emergency. The vast majority of Democratic primary voters, 77 percent, said they are still trying to decide on a candidate.
UNH surveyed 549 adults in New Hampshire by phone from April 10 to 18, with a margin of error of +/- 4.2 percent.
