Former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes will be the subject of a TV mini-series just announced Wednesday.
The New York Times reports director Tom McCarthy, notably of the movie "Spotlight" which captured six Oscars, including Best Picture as well as Best Director, will executive produce the series focusing on Ailes' imbroglios and eventual ouster from Fox News back in July.
The series, as yet untitled, will rely heavily on the work of Gabriel Sherman, the New York magazine writer whose book "The Loudest Voice in the Room" put him in Ailes' crosshairs.
The project was announced at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit in San Francisco.
