President Donald Trump Tuesday accepted House Speaker Paul Ryan's invitation to address a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28.

The address would be Trump’s first appearance before Congress and would be a chance for Trump to lay out his legislative agenda.

It won’t technically be a State of the Union address, since Trump was just sworn into office. But incoming presidents are traditionally invited to speak to before House and Senate lawmakers.

Ryan told reporters on Tuesday that Trump is eager to get going on the Republican agenda "and so are we."

The speech will be Trump's first to Congress..
