President Donald Trump on Tuesday knocked London Mayor Sadiq Khan for criticizing his response to Hurricane Dorian, telling the mayor to “stay out of our business.”

Khan mocked Trump over the weekend after the president canceled a trip to Poland to commemorate the 80th anniversary of World War II, opting to play golf at his private Virginia club instead. Khan, who did make the trip, told Politico’s London Playbook that Trump is “clearly busy dealing with a hurricane out on the golf course.”

Trump responded on Tuesday, misspelling the mayor's first and last name in the process: “The incompetent Mayor of London, Sadique Kahn, was bothered that I played a very fast round of golf yesterday. Many Pols exercise for hours, or travel for weeks. Me, I run through one of my courses (very inexpensive). President Obama would fly to Hawaii. Kahn should focus on ‘knife crime,’ which is totally out of control in London. People are afraid to even walk the streets. He is a terrible mayor who should stay out of our business!”

According to the Associated Press, Trump spent several hours at his golf course on Saturday before he returned to Camp David to get briefed on Hurricane Dorian, which was at that point moving towards the Southeast coast of the United States.

“I do worry about the people on the periphery,” Khan told Politico. “We cannot run away from the fact that there are some pretty unsavory people around the world who see him as their poster boy, who have been inspired by him to go in the mainstream.”
