Scott Baio Praises Kanye West for Supporting Trump

By    |   Friday, 10 August 2018 03:56 PM EDT

Former TV heartthrob Scott Baio says conservative entertainers who publically support President Donald Trump have courage for standing up for what they believe in liberal Hollywood.

The "Happy Days" and "Charles in Charge" star – reacting to Kanye West's revelation on Thursday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that he was told supporting Trump would end his career – told Newsmax TV's "America Talks Live":

"I guess it is courageous because most of this town is liberal. He has an opinion, he believes what he believes. I'm glad that he believes that, I believe the same way, the same things that he does.

"We've got to the point that you can't say anything that is not liberal idea or ideal. And that's unfortunate because more than half of this country believes what we believe. And, you know, I don't
know where we go from here to be perfectly honest with you."
