Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice said she would say yes if she is asked to be Joe Biden’s running mate.

“I’m humbled and honored to be among the extremely accomplished women who are reportedly being considered in that regard,” Rice said during an interview on the PBS show, “Firing Line With Margaret Hoover.” “I know Joe Biden well. I’ve worked with him very closely.

“I know he’ll be a great president of the United States. And from my vantage point, I’m committed to doing all I can to help him win and to help him govern. So, I will do as I best can in whatever capacity makes most sense.”

Pressed if she would say yes if he asked to be his running mate, she replied: “I certainly would say yes.”

The show posted a video excerpt of the interview on its Twitter account.

Fox News noted Biden is listed on a memo declassified by acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell of former Obama administration officials who may have seen documents regarding  the “unmasking” of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Rice, who is not included in the list, has admitted to making unmasking requests while serving as national security adviser, the news network noted.
