The Time Warner Center in New York City — which houses CNN's Manhattan headquarters — was partially evacuated Thursday as police investigated a "pair of unattended packages" at the building, CBS News reported.
The evacuation comes a day after an explosive device was mailed to CNN, addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan — one of a number of packages containing similar explosives aimed at prominent critics of President Donald Trump. None have detonated.
The New York Police Department said the bomb squad was investigating a suspicious package on the third floor, and it evacuated that floor as well as the second floor, CBS News reported.
The building houses a number of shops, called The Shops at Time Warner Center, on the first three floors. A Whole Foods store is in the basement.
