Billionaire political donor Tom Steyer said special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report should been seen as “supporting evidence” in the case against President Donald Trump.

Steyer, who has poured large sums of money into a campaign to get Trump impeached, made his comments came during an interview with Hill.TV.

"On the public record, we've already got more than enough evidence that there is obstruction of justice,” he said.  “There's more than enough evidence that he is corrupt, and takes payments on a daily basis from foreign countries, which is strictly forbidden by the Constitution”

And he slammed those who say the Mueller report is a “witch hunt.”

Steyer said: "Are we supportive of the Mueller report? 100 percent. I don't believe for a second that that's going to be what the Mueller report finds, but I think that we should view it as supporting evidence done by a fine prosecutor on part of what should be investigated and presented openly to the American people.”

Steyer has vowed to push every Democratic candidate for president to support Trump’s impeachment.
