President Donald Trump is being sued for $2 million by a contractor who worked on his Washington hotel, Politico reported.

The company, AES Electrical Inc., filed the suit in D.C. Superior Court for unpaid bills related to "nonstop" work at Trump International ahead of a soft opening in September.

"Acceleration of Freestate's work required Freestate's crews to work nonstop, seven days per week, 10 to 14 hours per day for nearly 50 consecutive days, prior to the 'soft opening,' at significant additional cost and expense for which Freestate expected payment," the complaint claimed. "Subsequent to the Hotel's 'soft opening,' Freestate was required to continue its acceleration efforts, and the performance of extra work in order to permit the 'grand opening' of the Trump Hotel by October 26, 2016."

Trump recently shelled out $25 million to settle a series of lawsuits brought against him by students who said they defrauded them while attending his for-profit Trump University. He is also in a legal battle with chefs who pulled out of agreements to open restaurants at Trump International because of references Trump made about Mexican immigrants during the campaign.
