President Donald Trump jabbed Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s claims of partial Native American ancestry again on Thursday.
Trump tweeted a mocked-up presidential campaign poster for Warren. The red, white and blue poster read: “Warren” on the first line. Underneath her name was 1/2020th.”
Politico noted Warren had launched an exploratory committee on New Year’s Eve. It also pointed out that Trump has been critical of Warren’s claims that she had some Native American ancestry. In the past, he has mocked the Massachusetts Democrat by dubbing her “Pocahontas.” Trump was asked during a Fox News interview on Monday whether he thought Warren believes she can actually win in 2020, replied: “Well, that I don’t know. You’d have to ask her psychiatrist.”
Warren has released test results showing she is between 1/64th and 1/1024th Native American.
Meanwhile NBC’s Frank Thorpe tweeted a response from Warren about Trump’s most recent Twitter post about her.
“Just showed this tweet to @ewarren. Her response: ‘Yea, again, how about the president spends his time getting the government back open...’”
