President Donald Trump publicly thanked Wayne Allyn Root, host of Newsmax TV’s "The Wayne Allyn Root Show" broadcast on Newsmax TV, for his words of support.
Just after 7:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, the president tweeted: "Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words. 'President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world ... and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he's the King of Israel."
"'They love him like he is the second coming of God ... But American Jews don't know him or like him. They don't even know what they're doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense! But that's OK, if he keeps doing what he's doing, he's good for all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone.
"And importantly, he's good for everyone in America who wants a job.' Wow! @newsmax @foxandfriends @OANN"
The @newsmax reference in the president's tweet credits Newsmax TV, which broadcasts Root’s show each night at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
Root, a Jewish-American, came to the president’s support Tuesday night after the president was criticized for comments he made earlier in the day in the Oval Office: "Any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty."

President Trump has cited alternative conservative media sources recently, complaining about Fox News coverage.
On Sunday, Trump told the White House press corps: "Fox is a lot different than it used to be. I can tell you that."
Trump singled out Fox's "The Five" co-host Juan Williams by name.
He also took aim at "the wonderful woman that gave Hillary Clinton the questions" at the 2016 president debate, referring to former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile who also co-hosts "The Five."
"All of a sudden, she’s working for Fox. What’s she doing working for Fox?" Trump asked.
