The TSA will allow passengers to bring certain "Star Wars" themed Coke bottles onto flights in the United States after they were initially banned for resembling hand grenades, CNN reports.

Disney added a section to its Orlando and Anaheim theme parks called "Star Wars Galaxy's Edge" earlier this year. The locations sell bottles of coke in the shape of "thermal detonators," which are grenade-like weapons in the "Star Wars" movies. A user on Twitter asked the TSA in early August if these bottles would be allowed to be packed into a suitcase and brought on a plane, noting that they "look dodgy."

The TSA replied, "Thanks for asking! Replica and inert explosives aren't allowed in either carry-on or checked bags."

However, in a statement to CNN on Saturday, the TSA said: "We have completed our review, and instructed our officers to treat these as an oversized liquid. Because these bottles contain liquids larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters), they should be put in checked baggage or emptied to be brought on as carry-on item."

Coca-Cola partnered with Disney to create the bottles, which incorporate the logos for Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani. The beverage company's vice president of strategic partnership marketing told CNN in April, "I think guests will probably drink one to stay hydrated or enjoy it in the land and then probably throw one in their backpack and take it home."
