During their private meeting in Helsinki, Finland, last month, Russia's President Vladimir Putin reportedly presented President Donald Trump with a series of proposed topics to discuss in the future.
Included among the proposed topics was controlling nuclear arms and prohibiting weapons in space, according to Russian documents obtained by Politico.
The person who provided the document to Politico obtained it from Russian officials who described it as what Putin had conveyed to Trump in Helsinki during a two-hour meeting July 16.
The header of the document reads in Cyrillic, "Dialogue on the Issue of Arms Control," Politico reported.
The White House denied to Politico that Trump had received any paperwork and declined to comment.
