Massive crowds are starting to show up at Sen. Elizabeth Warren's campaign rallies as enthusiasm appears to be building for her 2020 presidential campaign, Vanity Fair is reporting.

The Massachusetts Democrat attracted 15,000 people to a Seattle, Washington, rally on Sunday. It was her largest crowd since announcing her candidacy earlier this year, according to a story posted by the magazine on Monday. Another 12,000 people turned out to see her about a week earlier in Minnesota.

Vanity Fair noted crowd size isn't always a perfect predictor of political success. However, it can be a real gauge of enthusiasm and can show how well a campaign message is getting out.

"When you see a government that works great for the rich, that works great for the wealthy and the well-connected and is not working so well for everyone else, that is corruption, pure and simple," Warren told the crowd in Seattle.

The results of a Monmouth University poll released on Monday showed Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., have surged into a virtual three-way tie with former Vice President Joe Biden in the Democratic race for president.
