Hillary Clinton tweeted Friday that "the president asked a foreign power to help him win an election. Again," after Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said Thursday that he had asked the Ukrainian government to investigate an alleged "scheme" involving Joe Biden and one of his sons.

Clinton, a Democrat who lost the 2016 election to Republican Donald Trump, has said she believed that Trump associates helped Russia meddle in the presidential contest.

Her tweet included a clip of Giuliani admitting in a contentious exchange with CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on Thursday that he had asked Ukranian officials to probe the "massive bribery scheme" allegedly involving the former vice president and his son, Hunter.

The issue rose in Cuomo's interview with Giuliani on the congressional whistleblower investigation involving President Trump.

When the CNN host first asked whether he had queried the Ukraine, Giuliani responded, "No, actually, I didn't."

But when Cuomo pressed further, the former New York City mayor admitted, "Of course I did" — and Cuomo immediately shot back, "You just said you didn't."

After Cuomo cautioned Giuliani to "be careful" on lodging accusations, he slammed the CNN host as a "sell out" and a member of the "corrupt media."
