The asylum abuse of the latest migrant caravan invading the United States border with Mexico is exposing the vulnerabilities of the country because anyone who gets in is ostensibly able to stay, former Immigration and Naturalization Services special agent Michael Cutler told Newsmax TV.
"Most of the [asylum] applications that are filed are vacated by the aliens themselves," Cutler told Monday's "America Talks Live." "They're using it as a ploy to enter the United States, and with an abject lack of interior enforcement, anybody who makes it into the interior is virtually assured the ability to remain here."

Cutler points to the complications of the lack of U.S. personnel to properly vet and track illegal immigrants in the U.S., making a secure border the only place to protect our country from people who might be coming to do us harm – a threat to national security.
"Sanctuary cities certainly complicate the issue," Cutler told host John Cardillo. "And both political parties say we cannot arrest and deport all the illegal aliens, it in essences fires the starter's pistol."
