China has stolen our jobs and "sent us a virus" in return, and Americans want Congress to hold it accountable, according to Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., on Newsmax TV.
"They're concerned about how China has tried to execute this cultural propaganda, and invade our classrooms and colleges with Confucius Institutes, and work its way into the mainstream of American society," Blackburn told Wednesday's "American Agenda." "Basically, China took our jobs and they sent us a virus.
"And people want China to be held to account."
She added to host Bob Sellers, her constituents also want their jobs back that were exported to China and American big tech's relationships to be scruntinized heavily.
"Big tech companies are very cozy with China, and you're going to continue to see our federal agencies look at these relationships," Blackburn said, pointing to semiconductor tech companies, Apple, Nike, and even the NBA.
"This is an area of bipartisan agreement that something needs to be done."
