Hillary Clinton doesn't need to apologize to Donald Trump for calling him the "best recruiter" for the Islamic State during Saturday's Democratic debate because "Trump is way ahead when it comes to excessive rhetoric and half-truths," former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson told
Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"There's no need to apologize," the longtime Democrat told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview. "They need to move on."

Regardless, Trump still is not going to win the Republican nomination, Richardson said. He endorsed Clinton's candidacy in August and served as U.N. ambassador and energy secretary under President Bill Clinton.
"But I've been wrong here," Richardson cautioned Malzberg. "I don't think he will get it. It will be somebody else.
"I don't think Trump has a good organization. He's great with crowds and media — and he's got the angry core of Republicans for him, but I have experience in Iowa and New Hampshire.
"You've got to get organization, turn your people to the polls," he added. "I don't think he's going to make it.
"I think he's going to be second or third and he'll start stumbling. Somebody else will emerge."
